nResponsibilities
nnnCoordinate efforts between data entry, floor personnel and shipping to ensure routes go out on time
n
nnManage workflow responsibilities with the Pharmacy Technician Shift Lead
n
nnEvaluate medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and proper administration
n
nnEnsure that dispensed medicines are correctly supplied and labeled
n
nnCommunicate with facilities’ nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members in regard to medication-related queries
n
nnSupervise the preparation of any medicines
n
nnPerform “on-call” duties when required
n
nnComplete any other task assigned by the Pharmacist in Charge
n
n nQualifications
nnnLicensed pharmacist in the State of Florida
n
nnLong Term Care experience preferred
n
nnPrevious experience in Hospital and Retail pharmacy or other medical fields
n
nnStrong analytical and critical thinking skills
n
nnExcellent written and verbal communication skills
n
nnStrong attention to detail
n
nnStrong organizational skills
n
nnComputer skills
n
nnFramework / ECM software knowledge a plus
n
