Job description
Lead Supplier Quality Engineer for Magnetic Resonance Imaging systems at GE HealthCare. This hybrid role manages supplier quality plans, executes new product introductions, conducts audits, and drives continuous improvement across assigned suppliers. The position combines quality assurance and development activities to ensure compliance and operational excellence. Responsibilities
Drive quality implementation and management for assigned suppliers
Execute project management for complex new product introductions with supplier partners
Conduct supplier qualifications, audits, and performance monitoring activities
Develop and monitor supplier scorecards; own results and drive improvements
Create and oversee corrective action plans to achieve industrial standards of excellence
Requirements
Bachelor's degree with minimum 4 years manufacturing/engineering/quality experience, or Associate's degree with 6 years experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for spreadsheet development and analysis
Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills to lead cross-functional change
Medical device industry experience
Supplier management experience
Knowledge of Lean methodology or Six Sigma principles
ASQ, ISO13485, CSQP or related supplier management certifications
