PMAA is looking for a proven senior agency recruiter and closer to join our team in Plantation, FL.
This is a player-coach role for someone who can personally take ownership of difficult searches, find and close great candidates, and eventually help train, develop, and lead our recruiting team.
This is not a management-only position. Initially, we need someone who can personally recruit and produce at a high level. As our team grows, the role will increasingly transition into recruiting leadership and management.
What You'll Do
Personally manage high-priority searches from intake through placement
Source and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn, databases, referrals, cold outreach, market mapping, and creative sourcing
Recruit across Engineering, Power Generation & Utilities, Technology, Accounting & Finance, and other professional disciplines
Quickly learn unfamiliar positions and develop effective search strategies
Screen, qualify, and present strong candidates to clients
Manage candidates through interviews, offers, negotiations, counteroffers, and closing
Work directly with clients and hiring managers, providing market intelligence and solutions when searches become challenging
Train and mentor junior recruiters on sourcing, screening, candidate management, and closing
Help build a culture of urgency, accountability, and results
Gradually take greater responsibility for recruiting team performance, training, and development
Who We're Looking For
5+ years of recruiting experience preferred
Staffing agency or executive search experience strongly preferred
Proven track record of personally making placements
Strong passive-candidate sourcing and hunting ability
Experience recruiting technical, professional, or specialized positions
Ability to quickly learn new industries and recruit outside of one narrow vertical
Strong screening, negotiation, candidate-control, and closing skills
Experience working directly with clients and hiring managers
Leadership, mentoring, or recruiter-training experience is a plus
Competitive, resourceful, accountable, and driven to produce results
