Lead Test OperatorExpress Employment Professionals is hiring four Lead Test Operators for an advanced aerospace manufacturing operation. This hands-on role supports the installation, instrumentation and testing of newly built small turbine engines in a fast-growing production environment.Job HighlightsInstall and remove turbine engines from test cellsConnect thermocouples, pressure transducers, strain gauges and accelerometersExecute pre-programmed test sequencesPerform mechanical and electrical work on cables, pipes, fittings and fixturesRead work instructions, blueprints and schematicsInspect tested components using prescribed measuring equipmentTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical and instrumentation issuesMaintain equipment and support improvements to testing proceduresDocument work progress, technical data and corrective actionsWhat We Look ForFour years of related experienceTwo years of mechanical and/or electrical assembly testingExperience using hand, power and pneumatic toolsAbility to follow standard work instructions and strict safety proceduresBlueprint and schematic-reading abilityStrong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skillsRegulated manufacturing experience preferredTurbine-engine, hydraulic, fuel-system or electrical-cabling experience is helpfulAbility to stand for most of the shift and lift up to 35 poundsU.S. citizenship and eligibility for a government security clearance
