Lead Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant job at Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc.. Pittsfield, MA. Join a dynamic and patient-centered urgent care team in Pittsfield, MA, dedicated to delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide expert clinical care while mentoring providers and non-provider clinic staff.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality urgent care services, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute illnesses and injuries.
Lead and mentor clinical staff, fostering professional growth and development.
Ensure compliance with evidence-based protocols and organizational standards.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to optimize patient care.
Provide proactive leadership and communicate effectively with staff and patients.
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records following best practices and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
Master’s degree and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Current Massachusetts licensure as an NP or PA.
DEA license with no restrictions.
Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (CPR and ACLS certifications not accepted).
Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or an ambulatory care setting preferred.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and support clinical staff.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Proactive problem-solver with confidence in professional decision-making.
