Leak Test Technician - 3rd ShiftMenk USA is seeking a motivated and dependable Leak Test Technician to join our manufacturing team on 3rd Shift. In this role, you will perform leak testing on transformer components while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.Essential ResponsibilitiesPerform leak testing on transformer components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.Operate oxy-fuel/torch cutting equipment to cut, repair, and modify materials.Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, weld symbols, and production documentation.Inspect finished weldments using precision measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy.Repair defective welds and replace components as needed.Maintain quality standards while meeting production schedules.Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles.Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsWorking knowledge of leak testing processes.Experience using oxy-fuel/torch cutting equipment.Ability to accurately perform dimensional measurements.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.Basic computer skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work overtime as needed.ExperienceOne to two years of manufacturing and/or welding experience preferred.EducationHigh School Diploma or GED required.Additional RequirementsMust successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.Must complete all required training and demonstrate competency as defined by the Company's Training Matrix.Competencies will be evaluated through the Company's performance management process.
