Job description
Primary Responsibilities
Design engaging, learner-centered learning experiences aligned with business and performance objectives.
Conduct needs assessments and analyze learner requirements to determine appropriate learning strategies.
Partner with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather, organize, and validate content.
Develop instructional strategies, learning objectives, course outlines, storyboards, and learning paths.
Create and develop e-learning, instructor-led training, virtual instructor-led training, blended learning, and other digital learning solutions.
Develop engaging learning materials, including presentations, facilitator guides, participant guides, assessments, activities, simulations, and multimedia content.
Apply adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning experience design best practices.
Design intuitive and accessible learning experiences across different platforms and devices.
Collaborate with graphic designers, multimedia developers, LMS administrators, and other stakeholders as needed.
Review and edit learning content for accuracy, consistency, clarity, accessibility, and instructional effectiveness.
Develop assessments, knowledge checks, and other evaluation methods to measure learner understanding and outcomes.
Conduct usability testing and incorporate learner and stakeholder feedback into learning solutions.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
Maintain documentation, course materials, design assets, and version control throughout the development process.
Evaluate existing learning programs and recommend improvements based on learner feedback, data, and business needs.
Stay current with emerging learning technologies, instructional design practices, and trends in digital learning.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Education, Educational Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Proven experience in learning experience design, instructional design, or learning content development .
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Experience designing and developing digital learning and/or instructor-led training programs.
Experience working with subject matter experts and business stakeholders.
Strong writing, editing, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging, and learner-friendly content.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Strong understanding of accessibility and inclusive learning principles.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms.
Experience with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate, or similar tools .
Experience developing SCORM/xAPI -compliant learning content.
Experience with multimedia development, video-based learning, simulations, or interactive learning experiences.
Knowledge of UX/UI design principles as they apply to learning experiences.
Experience with learning analytics, learner feedback, and program evaluation.
Experience supporting enterprise-wide learning initiatives or large-scale learning transformations.
Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG .
