nPACCAR Financial supports the sale of PACCAR vehicles by providing flexible financing solutions and value-added services tailored to the transportation industry.
nRole Summary: The Lease Accountant supports PACCAR Financial’s lease accounting operations, sales and property tax reporting and close activities, partners cross-functionally with Admin Group, Used Truck Department and Tax and leads continuous improvement across accounting operations.
nJob Functions / Responsibilities
nnnPerform month-end accounting close and balance sheet account reconciliations related to PFC’s lease portfolio, used truck sales and inventory transactions
n
nnSupport lease accounting operations, including reviewing new lease contracts set up by Contract Admin Group and processing payoff quotes in Asset Finance ERP system
n
nnPrepare and file sales tax returns
n
nnProcess property tax payments and customer rebills, and prepare property tax renditions for various states
n
nnSupport Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and process improvement related to lease portfolio management and used truck processes
n
nnAssist in preparation of MD&A and footnote disclosures on PFC’s form 10-Q/K filings
n
nnSupport internal, external and tax audit requests
n
nnComplete special projects and ad hoc analysis as assigned
n
n nQualifications and Skills
nnnBachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
n
nnMinimum of two years of relevant accounting or finance experience required.
n
nnStrong technical accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
n
nnHigh attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, well-supported work.
n
nnClear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
n
nnProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
n
nnGood knowledge of data analytic tools (i.e. Tableau, etc.)
n
nnAbility to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.

Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
