Leasing Agent
Location: On-site Pay: $20.00/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch) Job Type: Temporary/Contract, evaluation-to-hire potential
About the Role
We're looking for a welcoming, sales-minded Leasing Agent to join our team on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity to show off your leasing and customer service skills, with the potential to grow into a longer-term position based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct property tours and answer prospective resident questions
Handle phone inquiries and demonstrate strong property knowledge
Manage appointment calendar and scheduling
Provide a welcoming, professional first impression to all visitors and callers
Please note: this role does not include keys or access to internal computer systems.
Qualities We're Looking For Welcoming and personable demeanor
Comfortable conducting property tours
Sales-oriented mindset
Strong communication skills
Skills Required
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
Good communication skills
Bilingual ability (any second language) a plus
Able to climb 3 flights of stairs if no elevator is available
Experience Required
Leasing or sales experience preferred (no specific years required)
Honesty about work history is required, including reasons for leaving previous roles
Compensation & Schedule
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch
