nWe are looking to recruit highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with others in a fast paced environment. Candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, solid interpersonal and computer skills.
nPosition Description
nnThe Leasing Representative is responsible for all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins and lease renewals, including generating and handling traffic, leasing apartments, qualifying prospects, preparing lease documentation and completing move-in procedures in accordance with the company's and the community's established policies and procedures.
nProvides high quality resident service and conveys resident service requests to the Maintenance Supervisor and other service associates.
nThis position is also responsible for complying with all state, federal and/or local laws relating to Fair Housing.
n nQualifications:
nnHigh School diploma required.
nExperience in customer service, marketing and sales highly preferred.
nExperience with computers and basic Microsoft Programs
n nOther Requirements:
nnWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
nFrequently is required to stand; walk; and use hands to maneuver, handle, or feel objects, or tools.
nOccasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
nMust occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
nSpecific vision abilities required by this job involve normal vision.
nProblem solving abilities are required.
nTime management skills are necessary.
nMust be able to operate a scanner/copier, alarm system, and check scanner.
nComputer literacy in MS Word, e-mail and a familiarity with the Internet required.
nReliable transportation required.
nAvailability for weekend and holiday work required.
n nCompensation Pay based on experience.
nBackground and drug testing are required for qualified candidates. EOE
