Job description
Position: Leasing Consultant
nCategory: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
nSupervisor: Community Manager
nHours: Typical range of hours is based on the community needs and may require weekends and after hour emergency services. Workdays may be adjusted based on community needs. Part Time: 3 days per week, 8 hours per day (average 24 hours).
nPhysical Demands: Light (occasional up to 25 pounds) - Climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, handle, etc.
nDrug Screens: Pre-employment, post injury, reasonable suspicion, and possible random screens.

n nKnowledge / Skills / Ability:
nnSkilled in assessing and addressing community common area and amenity needs, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to community standards.
nEffectively prioritizes tasks independently, manages time well, and consistently achieves assigned objectives and projects.
nAdapts quickly to resolve unexpected challenges and manage shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
nProficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, and internet applications.
nStrong verbal and written communication, excellent organizational skills, and an ability to collaborate effectively with on-site staff, residents, supervisors, corporate associates, and vendors.
nProficient in English with bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
nSkilled in interpreting legal documents, managing rent collections, and overseeing lease compliance.
nPossesses intermediate math skills for financial reporting, budgeting, and record-keeping, including proficiency with percentages, decimals, and fractions.
nWelcomed knowledge of property operations, with an emphasis on lease terms, contract enforcement, and collections.

nnProvides comprehensive support across all facets of community operations, working closely with and under the guidance of the Community Manager.
n n** Preferred Education and Experience: **
nnA high school diploma or equivalent is required
nPrior sales experience encouraged

nChanneling Resources: * Forge connections with vendors and potential partners, establishing communication channels to support our community's needs. * Keep your Program Coordinator in the loop by sharing relevant information and contact details for potential collaborations.
nBuilding Leaders: * Educate residents about the program and inspire their involvement as resident facilitators, empowering them to take on leadership roles. * Guide interested residents through the sign-up process, nurturing the next generation of community leaders.
