Job description
KPM is looking for an ambitious Leasing Consultant with strong customer service skills and a passion for people to join the team in our Portland, Oregon area!
nThis is a full time position and compensation will range based on experience.
nThe Leasing Consultant is the property’s sales representative whose primary duties are to greet prospects, present professionally the features and benefits of their assigned property and property secure lease agreements from qualified persons.
nResponsibilities:
nnnProvide exceptional customer service to prospective residents, current residents and vendors to increase leasing agreements for the property
n
nnUnderstand and explain the TAA Lease Contract to current and future residents
n
nnEnsure all units are in optimal condition and prepare and coordinate move-in packets and day of move-ins with all future residents
n
nnCreate effective and efficient ways to market the property such as coordinating all resident activities
n
nnMaintain a positive relationship with all residents and team members
n
nnWalk the property at least once a day to ensure a strong curb appeal
n
nnPerform other duties assigned
n
n nRequirements:
nnnHigh School Diploma or Equivalent required / College degree preferred
n
nnExcellent verbal and written communication skills
n
nnMust be able to communicate effectively with residents and team members
n
nnHigh sense of urgency, with the ability to meet deadlines
n
nnAbility to articulate and relay information in an effective and efficient manner
n
nnMust be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, and Outlook
n
nnMust have excellent customer service skills
n
n nPhysical Requirements / Working Conditions:
nnnProlonged periods sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday
n
nnPush, pull, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, and reach above shoulders
n
nnMust be able to type efficiently
n
nnMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds
n
nnMust be able to work indoors / outdoors or in extreme weather conditions
n
nnMust be able to work weekends and/or evenings on a rotating schedule
n
