Location: Sandy, OR

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

The Leasing Agent is responsible for assisting prospective residents throughout the leasing process, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the apartment community.

The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, organized, and comfortable interacting with prospective and current residents. Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities Greet and professionally assist prospective and current residents.

Respond to leasing inquiries by phone, email, and in person.

Conduct property tours and showcase available apartment homes and community amenities.

Explain apartment features, pricing, availability, and community policies.

Process rental applications and assist with the leasing process.

Follow up with prospective residents and maintain strong lead-to-lease activity.

Prepare and complete lease agreements and related documentation.

Assist with move-in and move-out processes.

Maintain accurate resident and leasing records.

Respond to resident questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Support resident retention and maintain positive resident relationships.

Assist with marketing and maintaining the presentation of the community.

Maintain a professional and welcoming leasing office and tour areas.

Work closely with the property management and maintenance teams to ensure excellent resident service.

Qualifications

Required Previous leasing, property management, sales, or customer service experience preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Professional and positive attitude.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Basic computer skills and ability to learn property management software.

Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Previous multifamily or apartment leasing experience.

Experience with property management software.

Knowledge of Fair Housing guidelines and leasing practices.

Sales or customer service experience in a residential or property management setting.

Work Environment Primarily office-based within a multifamily apartment community.

Frequent interaction with prospective and current residents, vendors, and team members.

May include walking throughout the community and showing apartment homes.

Fast-paced environment requiring strong organizational and customer service skills.

Weekend availability may be required based on the community's leasing schedule.
