nThe Leasing Consultant is responsible for welcoming prospective residents to the community, coordinating tours, and responding to incoming inquiries about leasing. The position will also interact with current residents regarding day-to-day issues as well as coordinating the renewals of existing leases. The Leasing Consultant will serve as a central point of communication between the Community residents, Community management, as well as community maintenance teams.

n nWhat you’ll do to make a difference:
nnnServe as the welcoming first point of contact for all residents, prospects, and visitors to the community
n
nnEffectively lease apartments and sell property’s products and services in accordance with budget
n
nnEnsure Fair Housing Standards in all matters when working with prospects and residents
n
nnFollow up on leasing traffic entries and monitor traffic trends
n
nnMaintain thorough product knowledge of property and that of major competition
n
nnAssist with marketing activities to position Bell communities as communities of choice
n
nnCoordinate the resident application review in accordance with Bell guidelines
n
nnComplete lease packets and files for each resident to include the lease, all addendums and other forms
n
nnRegular attendance and punctuality
n
nnProper documentation
n
nnFollow up with residents throughout the lease
n
nnReceive any resident inquiries, complaints, or issues and provide timely follow up
n
n nWhat you bring to our team:
nnnUnderstanding of and alignment with Bell Core Values
n
nnHigh School diploma or GED
n
nn1+ years’ customer service experience; hospitality or apartment leasing role
n
nnMust demonstrate support of BAL strategic drivers,
n
nnMust demonstrate ability to provide exceptional customer service,
n
nnMust be able to work on a team or in a team environment,
n
nnMust present a professional image
n
nnMust be resourceful and well-organized.
n
nnAbility to successfully work on a team
n
nnExcellent oral and written communication skills
n
nnStrong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
n
nnExceptional customer service skills and a professional image
n
nnGood decision-making skills and knowledge on how businesses work
n
n nPhysical requirements of the job:
nnnWalking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting to 30 lbs.
n
nnAbility to work with mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as hazardous materials
n
nnMust be comfortable with heights and moving heavy objects
n
