Job description
We are seeking a motivated Leasing Professional to support the successful leasing and day-to-day operations of a residential community. In this customer-focused role, you will serve as a knowledgeable and welcoming point of contact for prospective and current residents, helping them find a home that meets their needs while delivering a consistently high standard of service.
Your responsibilities will include responding to leasing enquiries, conducting property tours, explaining apartment features, amenities, lease terms and community policies, and guiding applicants through the leasing process from initial enquiry to move-in. You will prepare and process applications, complete background and reference checks in line with established procedures, maintain accurate resident and prospect records, and follow up promptly on leads to support occupancy targets. You will also assist with renewals, resident communications, rent collection support, and the resolution of routine questions or concerns. Working closely with on-site and maintenance teams, you will help ensure apartments and shared areas are presented professionally and that prospective residents receive accurate information.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in leasing, residential property management, hospitality, sales or another customer-facing environment. Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills are essential, together with confidence using property management systems, CRM platforms and standard office software. You should be commercially aware, detail-oriented and comfortable working toward performance goals while maintaining a positive and professional approach. The role may involve weekend or occasional evening work, as well as regular movement around the community. A commitment to confidentiality, compliance, fair housing principles and excellent resident service is required.
