Position description
The Department of Neurobiology and Behavior is seeking to fill part-time Lecturer positions for the academic year in the following areas:
* Cell biology
* Biochemistry
* Genetics
* Biology of organ systems
* Brain dysfunction and repair
* Disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinsonism, schizophrenia, and depression
Examples of the curricular programs can be found at: UC Irvine Department of Neurobiology and Behavior - Department of NB&B focuses include learning and memory, age-related neurodegenerative disorders, sensory and integrative neuroscience, neuronal development, neurocomputation, etc.
The successful candidate will have an extensive academic background, previous teaching experience and an advanced degree (M.S., Ph.D.) contributing to the areas of need for this program. Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application) The successful candidate will have an extensive academic background, including in the field of neurodegeneration, previous teaching experience of courses focused on neurodegenerative diseases as well as an advanced degree contributing to the areas of need. Salary is commensurate with experience.
