About the Role:
Vernis & Bowling’s North Miami office seeks a self-motivated Personal Injury Protection (PIP) Legal Assistant to join our growing team. This full-time, on-site position operates in a fast-paced environment and provides exposure to a broad spectrum of legal services under attorney supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct litigation support to associates and paralegals managing PIP claims.
Draft, format, and proofread routine legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
Manage calendar deadlines, schedule depositions, and coordinate hearings.
Process state court filings and maintain organized electronic case files.
Requirements:
A minimum of 1 year of civil litigation experience in a law firm environment.
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Direct familiarity with Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims and procedures.
Proficiency in legal case management software and standard office applications.
