Legal Billing SpecialistLegal billing specialist position available at a law firm in Austin, Texas with a salary range of $55,000 to $65,000 per year. You will have exposure to sophisticated legal work across litigation, corporate, real estate, energy, healthcare and more. It is a critical function that keeps attorney client relationships intact, revenue flowing and the firm compliant with some of the most complex billing arrangements in the industry. The largest law firm in Texas needs a legal billing specialist who has been in the trenches of law firm billing long enough to handle anything that comes across their desk.You will manage the full billing cycle from prebills through finalization, coordinate with attorneys and accounting leadership, manage e-billing submissions and ensure every invoice is accurate, compliant and delivered on time.What you need to bring:Minimum 7 years of legal billing experience at a law firmStrong knowledge of e-billing requiredProficiency with Aderant legal accounting software highly preferredStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook and WordBachelor's degree preferred. High school diploma or GED requiredStrong organizational and analytical skills with ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints
