Legal Billing Specialist – San Diego, CA | HybridEstablished full-service law firm in San Diego is seeking an experienced Legal Billing Specialist to join its collaborative team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong legal billing experience who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesPrepare, review, and finalize client invoices based on firm and client billing guidelinesHandle write-downs, rate corrections, trust applications, and split billingSubmit invoices through eBilling platforms and resolve rejections or adjustmentsMonitor attorney time and expenses for accuracy and complianceAssist with collections and follow up on outstanding accountsManage eBilling setups, client onboarding, rate approvals, and matter setup in AderantProcess LEDES files and ensure billing documents are accurate and professionalWork with attorneys, staff, and clients to resolve billing discrepancies and invoice issuesMaintain billing records and prepare monthly reports on AR, trusts, time, costs, and matter statusQualifications5+ years of legal billing experience in a law firm environmentHigh school diplomaExperience with Aderant, ProLaw, Elite 3E, or similar billing softwareStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines and work independentlyDiscretion when handling confidential financial and client informationiManage and SQL experience preferredCompensation & BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k)Life and disability insurancePaid time off and holidaysTransportation assistanceProfessional development and continuing education opportunitiesTo learn more about this opportunity, please contact Carolina Ries at or call/text .All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
