Legal Billing SpecialistA well-established law firm in Wilmington, Delaware is seeking a Legal Billing Specialist to join its accounting team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative professional environment while supporting attorneys and clients through all aspects of the billing process.The ideal candidate will have prior law firm billing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high volume of billing activity in a deadline-driven environment. Candidates should be comfortable partnering with attorneys and staff to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.ResponsibilitiesPrepare, review, revise, and finalize client invoicesProcess monthly billing and ensure timely distribution to clientsGenerate and analyze prebills for attorney reviewReview billing entries for accuracy and compliance with client guidelinesSubmit electronic invoices through client e-billing platformsResearch and resolve billing inquiries and discrepanciesMonitor aged accounts and assist with collections follow-up as neededMaintain billing records and supporting documentationWork closely with attorneys and administrative staff regarding billing mattersAssist with special projects and reporting as requestedQualificationsPrior legal billing experience requiredExperience working in a law firm environment preferredFamiliarity with e-billing systems and billing guidelinesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft OfficeStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesProfessional communication and customer service skillsBenefitsCompetitive compensationHybrid work scheduleComprehensive benefits packageCollaborative and supportive team environmentLong-term career growth opportunity
