Job description
A premier hedge fund, UK headquartered, is looking to add an Employment Attorney to its growing New York Legal team. Known to have renowned culture with recent significant AuM growth across various strategies.
This is a highly visible, business-facing position covering a broad range of workplace matters within a sophisticated financial services environment. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, providing practical legal advice on complex and often sensitive situations across the organization.
What You’ll Do:
Advise the business on employment matters arising throughout the employee lifecycle
Draft and negotiate documentation connected to hiring, compensation and employee transitions
Provide practical guidance on sensitive workplace issues and changing regulatory requirements
Work with senior Legal and business stakeholders on disputes, internal initiatives and emerging areas of risk
You’re a Good Fit If You Have:
Employment law experience gained within a leading law firm, hedge fund, or asset manager. UK experience not required but is a plus.
Strong knowledge of US employment law and workplace regulation
Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
Sound judgment and the confidence to advise senior stakeholders on sensitive matters
