Job description
Our client, a major asset management company in New York City, is looking for an attorney with 4-7 years of employee benefits and executive compensation experience.
Responsibilities
- Advise business partners on the commercial and legal aspects of compensation and benefits.
- Draft, negotiate, and analyze compensation (cash and equity) and employee benefits plans and agreements.
Qualifications
- A law degree and 4-7 years of experience in compensation and benefits at a law firm and/or in-house, including meaningful experience drafting complex executive compensation arrangements for investment management firms or other financial services businesses.
- Familiarity with employee benefits law (including ERISA and the Affordable Care Act) is preferred, given this role will involve meaningful day-to-day engagement with benefits matters.
Compensation Range: $250,000 to $275,000 plus bonus
