Legal SecretarySalary: $70,000 - $75,000 per yearLocation: Woodbury, NYOur client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Legal Secretary to support attorneys specializing in family and business law. Working out of the Woodbury (Long Island) Office, this is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, edit, and proofread legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, contracts, and memorandaMaintain and organize case files, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date recordsConduct legal research and compile materials for case preparationManage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointmentsCommunicate professionally with clients, court personnel, & external partiesHandle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficientlyPerform general administrative duties (filing, scanning, photocopying, etc.)QualificationsProven experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably in family & business lawProficiency in Microsoft Office and NYSCEF (New York State Courts Electronic Filing system)Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize effectively in a deadline-driven environmentStrong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindsetHigh level of discretion and ability to handle confidential informationCompensation & Benefits· Salary commensurate with experience - Salary is up to $75,000 (DOE).
