Legislative Aide (District 94)State Representative Meg Weinberger is now accepting applications in her West Palm Beach, Florida office to assist with a variety of administrative and public relations matters requiring a thorough understanding of the policies, procedures, and operating practices of the Florida Legislature.Salary: Annual $47,364. The Legislature offers a competitive benefits package. This position may be eligible for virtual work. All virtual district employees must reside and work virtually in Florida.Primary Responsibilities:Knowledge and application of House Rules, Protocol, House-specific Applications, House Administrative Policies and the Legislature's Joint Policies and Procedures.Calendar and SchedulingConstituent ManagementLegislative ResearchLegislative ProcessPublic Relations and Press ReleasesStakeholder RelationsDesignated Tallahassee Staff during Committee Weeks and Session Mandatory Trainings as AssignedFINANCIAL DISCLOSURE: Pursuant to sections and , F.S., this position is required to electronically file a Form 1 – Statement of Financial Interests with the Florida Commission on Ethics within 30 days of hire.Minimum Qualifications: An Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university and two years of administrative experience; or a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
