Lender Assistant
Location: Downtown Austin, TX (Onsite)
Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Lender Assistant to support a high-performing commercial banking team in Downtown Austin. This individual will work directly with the Market Executive, Commercial Lender, and Portfolio Manager supporting a commercial loan portfolio exceeding $200MM .
This is a fast-paced, highly visible role that requires an organized, proactive professional who enjoys being an integral part of a collaborative lending team. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in an office environment, communicates well with lenders and clients, and can anticipate needs before they're asked.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and operational support to Commercial Lenders and Market Executive.
Coordinate commercial loan documentation and closing process.
Assist with loan pipeline management and tracking.
Prepare loan packages and maintain loan files.
Communicate with borrowers, attorneys, title companies, and internal departments.
Work closely with the Portfolio Manager and Credit Analyst to ensure smooth loan processing.
Schedule meetings and assist with customer service requests.
Maintain accuracy and organization in all lending documentation.
Support multiple commercial banking relationships while managing competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a Commercial Lender Assistant or Commercial Loan Assistant.
Commercial banking experience required.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to multitask in a busy lending environment.
High attention to detail.
Comfortable working in-office every day.
Experience with Encino lending platform is a significant plus.
Experience supporting Commercial Relationship Managers or Market Executives preferred.
Compensation
Base DOE
Annual performance increases
Incentive bonus (approximately 5%)
