Level II Security Officer - Paid TrainingThis is a seasonal position at Six Flags Entertainment Corporation Six Flags Fiesta Texas, offering an exciting opportunity to launch a career in security and public safety. Certified Level II Security Officers earn $14.75 per hour. Applicants who do not currently possess a State of Texas Level II Security License are still encouraged to apply and will begin training and working as a Security Screener at $10.25 per hour while completing the certification process. Upon obtaining and providing valid Level II credentials to the department, team members will transition into the Level II Security Officer position and corresponding pay rate.Team members enjoy a variety of perks, including free park admission for themselves and a guest, additional complimentary tickets, merchandise discounts, flexible scheduling, opportunities to access earned wages early through Dayforce Wallet, and potential career growth opportunities within the Security Department.$10.25/hour while working as a Security Screener pending certificationThe Security Department will provide Level II Security training opportunitiesApplicants will have 60 days to obtain and provide their State of Texas Level II Security CertificationOnce credentials are obtained and verified, pay increases to $14.75/hour as a Level II Security OfficerApplicants who do not obtain certification within 60 days may remain in the Screener position at the Screener pay rateAs a Level II Security Officer, you will help provide a safe, secure, and family-friendly environment for guests and team members throughout the park. This position is ideal for individuals interested in public safety, emergency response, customer service, or law enforcement careers. While awaiting certification, you will gain valuable experience working as a Security Screener, learning park operations, guest interaction, and security procedures before transitioning into a fully certified Security Officer role.Must be at least 18 years of ageMust have a valid driver's licenseAbility to successfully obtain a State of Texas Level II Security Certification within 60 daysStrong communication and guest service skillsAbility to remain calm and professional during stressful situationsWillingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special eventsAbility to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods of timeAbility to follow procedures, policies, and directions from leadershipPrevious security or customer service experience is preferred, but not requiredConduct guest and team member screening at park entry pointsProvide exceptional guest service while enforcing park policies and proceduresPatrol assigned areas of the park to maintain safety and securityAll other duties as assigned or necessary to support the park as a wholeReports to Security Leadership
