About This Role
The Level III Staff RN in San Marcos provides professional nursing care in Obstetrics/GYN, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who are flexible and committed to delivering quality patient care.
Highlights
Pay : $70 - $96/hour
Location : San Marcos, CA
Facility : San Marcos Medical Offices
Schedule : Per Diem, Day shift (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
What You'll Do
Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
Serve as a leader of the health care team and delegate tasks appropriately.
Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as needed.
Ensure patient safety and optimal pain control.
Document nursing processes accurately and legibly.
Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
Maintain a safe environment and adhere to workplace safety principles.
Practice customer service standards and ensure patient confidentiality.
Requirements
Education
Limited 2nd and 3rd trimester OB ultrasound certification/training required within the last 5 years.
Experience
1 year recent experience in L&D, antepartum testing, FCC/Post Partum, OB/GYN, or Women's Health in an acute or ambulatory setting.
Licenses & Certifications
Registered Nurse License (California)
Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certificate
Basic Life Support from American Heart Association
