Job description
Alcona County Library in northeastern Michigan is seeking a Library Director to lead five branches, plan programs, supervise staff, and manage policies and finances. The Director reports to the Library Board and represents the library in the community.
Applicants must have a Level 1 Permanent Professional Librarian Certificate from the Library of Michigan; MLS/MLIS or equivalent experience may be considered. The position begins January 1, 2027, with a competitive benefits package.
