Are you a librarian looking for a creative leadership opportunity in a beautiful and supportive small town?
The Tupper Lake Public Library, AKA the Goff Nelson Memorial Library, is seeking a creative, dynamic, and inspiring leader. You will manage a dedicated staff, a $300k budget, and a collection of 40,000 items in a magnificent waterfront location.

Qualifications and Requirements
A Master’s Degree in Librarianship from a library school that is accredited by American Library Association or recognized by the New York State Education Department as following acceptable education practices and a minimum of two (2) years professional library experience
Ability to train and supervise library staff and coordinate the work of others
Knowledge of library organizations, budgets, procedures, policies, aims, and services
Knowledge of the applications of computer technology to library operations
Compensation and Benefits
The Director works a flexible schedule that regularly encompasses regular daytime business hours but requires adjustment to accommodate meetings, community events and professional conferences.
