Job description
State of New York seeks a Hearing Officer 1 (Incarcerated Discipline) to preside over administrative proceedings at correctional facilities. You will arrange witness testimony and documentary/video evidence, ensure due process, determine evidence relevancy, and render well-reasoned decisions with clear dispositions.
Responsibilities include recording hearings, maintaining an independent stance, and coordinating with Counsel's Office for training and FOIL-related tasks as required.
