Job description
Blaster PositionRogers Group is currently seeking a Blaster to conduct the daily blasting operations at our Jefferson County Stone Operation, which is an underground mine in Louisville, KY. The candidate will be responsible for the daily loading, transportation, storage and security of all aspects of the underground mine blasting process. The person will also be responsible for keeping and maintaining the daily and monthly blasting reports for all explosive materials. They will also be required to assist in mine management of the drilling and shot layout process to include shot timing and fragmentation analysis.Wages for licensed candidates will begin at $30 per hour for candidates with 2 years of blasting experience minimum. Pay will be determined based on experience.
