We are based in Lithonia, Georgia and our services are available in the areas of Clayton, Cobb, Dekalb, Douglas, Fayette, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Jackson, and Rockdale County. In Gail's Homecare, we value our employees the same way we value our clients!We are currently seeking for a compassionate, highly-skilled, and reliable CNA to serve as part of our growing home health care team. In this role, you will work with our clients in their homes, helping them with basic personal hygiene and domestic tasks as needed, according to their requirements and limitations. You will provide compassionate care and assistance and document clients' progress to help ensure their overall wellbeing.Pay Rate: $15 per hourSchedule: Mondays and Tuesdays, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (PRN available)Qualifications:CPR/BLS and First Aid Certification (required)High School Diploma or GED (required)At least 1 year of full-time professional experience in a healthcare setting (3–5 years preferred)Experience in a home healthcare setting is strongly preferredStrong English communication skills (written and verbal)Completion of at least 8 hours of personal care-related training annuallyAbility to work under supervision and follow care plans accuratelyExperience in housekeeping or domestic workPhysically able to assist with lifting and transferring clientsPatient, calm, and compassionate in stressful situationsWilling to perform personal care and household tasks as neededReliable, punctual, and responsibleWarm, caring personality with a strong commitment to client dignity and respectWillingness to comply with all legal and agency requirementsRequirements:Valid Driver's License or State-issued IDActive CNA LicenseCurrent CPR CardTB Test ResultsSocial Security CardVaccination CardExisting fingerprint-based background checkClient Needs:Morning TasksMake her coffeeMake her bedClean the kitchenTake out the trashClean the dog pads and mop the area with FabulosoPrepare and serve breakfast with medicationsMidday / Afternoon TasksServe lunch with medicationsAssist with any requests or tasks she needs help withHelp her in the kitchen when she wants to cookWalk the dog when neededBefore LeavingSet up her dinner tray with medicationsIf you're passionate about providing quality care, we'd love to have you on our team!
