Qualifications and Desired Background:
Valid SLP license and certification recognized in Colorado
Demonstrated experience working with school-aged children, ideally across elementary, middle, and high school populations
Knowledge of assessment tools, therapy techniques, and evidence-based interventions for student speech and language needs
Comfort working within IEP teams and communicating effectively with parents, staff, and students
Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle a flexible caseload
Commitment to cultural competence and inclusivity in all interactions
Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and support students with communication challenges to enhance academic and social success
Develop and execute individualized therapy plans tailored to student strengths and goals
Collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, and special education staff, contributing expertise to IEP development and progress monitoring
Document student progress and maintain timely, accurate records in alignment with compliance standards
Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives
Deliver both group and one-on-one sessions, adjusting intervention models as appropriate for various age levels
