Are you ready to lead transformative mental health care for teens in crisis?

Join a growing behavioral health treatment program serving adults in Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) levels of care in Newport Beach, California. We're seeking a licensed clinical professional who can guide prospective clients through the admissions process, conduct clinical assessments, and collaborate with treatment teams to ensure appropriate placement and continuity of care. This is an opportunity to combine clinical expertise with relationship-building in an outpatient behavioral health setting focused on high-quality patient care.

This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys combining clinical assessment skills with business development, relationship-building, and patient advocacy.

Responsibilities

Conduct clinical intake assessments, level of care evaluations, suicide risk assessments, and safety planning for prospective clients.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and families, guiding them through treatment recommendations, program options, tours, and the admissions process.

Partner closely with admissions, clinical, and operations teams to ensure a smooth and timely transition into care.

Build trust with clients and families while navigating sensitive conversations with professionalism, confidence, and empathy.

Maintain accurate documentation and stay organized in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is critical.

Provide clinical support as needed, including group facilitation, limited caseload coverage, and participation in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.

Lead and support admissions growth by monitoring census goals, identifying opportunities for improvement, and helping more individuals access quality behavioral health care.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field required.

Active California clinical licensure (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC) or associate licensure (ASW, AMFT, or APCC) required.

Experience conducting behavioral health assessments, including level of care evaluations, suicide risk assessments, and safety planning.

Comfortable building rapport with clients and families, navigating sensitive conversations, and discussing treatment recommendations and financial expectations.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage documentation, deadlines, and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across admissions, clinical, and operational teams.

Self-motivated, organized professional who can balance clinical responsibilities, admissions goals, and census growth initiatives.
