Outpatient Therapist — Ellie Mental Health Overview
Join Ellie Mental Health as an Outpatient Therapist and help transform access to quality care. Established in 2015 in Minneapolis by Erin Pash, LMFT, and Kyle Keller, LICSW, Ellie set out to break down systemic barriers and destigmatize mental health care. Primary Responsibilities
Clinical Care: Conduct diagnostic evaluations, establish personalized treatment plans, and deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions.
Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely clinical records (assessments, treatment plan reviews, session notes) in compliance with practice policies.
Caseload Management: Maintain a minimum average of 25 client sessions per week for full-time status.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Coordinate care with external partners, including families, schools, medical professionals, case managers, and internal colleagues.
Professional Engagement: Active participation in staff meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Master's degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution.
Licensure: Active clinical license (or actively on track toward licensure) in your state. Insurance paneling for fully licensed clinicians is preferred.
Clinical Knowledge: Proven experience drafting Diagnostic Assessments (DAs), treatment goals, and progress notes.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms (Valant experience preferred).
Core Competencies: Clear written/verbal communication, strong boundary setting, and experience providing culturally responsive care to diverse populations.
