Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their mental health needs and create personalized treatment plans that address individual goals.
Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care, to facilitate positive outcomes.
Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, ensuring all documentation is up to date and accessible for team collaboration.
Engage in regular meetings with the treatment team to review progress, share insights, and adapt treatment plans as necessary based on client feedback.
Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in social work and mental health to enhance your professional expertise and the quality of care provided.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your primary focus will be on serving a diverse group of clients facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to trauma, anxiety, and depression. You will provide comprehensive support to individuals from different backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent care that respects and honors their unique experiences. The goal is to empower clients on their journey towards healing and recovery.
Qualifications
A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
An active LCSW license in the state of New York.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.
A passion for working in a team-oriented environment that prioritizes client care and professional growth.
Preferred Experience
Experience working within community health settings or rehabilitation environments is preferred, particularly implementing therapies for trauma-informed care. Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus, as you will need to document and analyze client progress efficiently.
Compensation and Benefits
