Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing to guide patients through their recovery journeys.
Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to ensure holistic care.
Provide education and ongoing support to patients and their families, helping them understand treatment processes and available resources.
Stay current with best practices, clinical innovations, and ongoing research in the field of social work and mental health.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your primary focus will be assisting adults grappling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. This role involves not only working with individuals but also supporting their families as they navigate the complexities of recovery. You will address a wide spectrum of challenges, from initial assessments to subsequent therapy sessions that guide clients through their healing processes.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
A valid LCSW license in the state of Tennessee is necessary to practice.
Demonstrated knowledge of solution-based therapies and psychotherapeutic techniques.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that help establish rapport with patients and family members.
Preferred Experience
At least two years of experience in a clinical setting, ideally within addiction recovery or mental health.
Experience working within a multidisciplinary team is a plus.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient tracking.
Compensation and Benefits
