Position Overview
Prime Core Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. This full-time remote position will play a crucial role in empowering families and enhancing the development of young children, particularly those who are marginalized or struggling with disabilities and delays. Work Environment
This position will be primarily remote, allowing flexibility in your workspace while still engaging with a vibrant team dedicated to providing exceptional social work services. Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Prime Core Counseling Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children to determine their developmental needs.
Participating in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring they align with both child and family goals.
Regularly monitoring and documenting the outcomes of interventions, contributing to a collaborative team effort aimed at improving child development.
Providing tailored support and resources to families to enhance their child's development and overall well-being.
Applying evidence-based practices and coaching methods, utilizing Natural Learning Environment Practices to foster effective learning.
Building strong relationships with children, families, and team members to promote healthy emotional and social learning environments.
Complying with all federal and state regulations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and ethical practice in social work.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will be working primarily with infants and toddlers who exhibit developmental disabilities or delays. This critical patient population requires specialized knowledge and sensitivity, as you will help them acquire physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills during their formative years. Your expertise will contribute significantly to their developmental trajectories, laying a strong foundation for their futures.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work (MSW/DSW).
Current licensure by the Department of Public Health as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
A valid driver’s license, enabling you to meet clients in their homes or designated community spaces when necessary.
A strong commitment to adapting treatment approaches based on varied learning styles of different children and their families.
Demonstrated experience—at least one year—working specifically with children within early intervention frameworks.
Excellence in organization, time management, and communication skills, facilitating effective interactions with family members and interdisciplinary teams.
Respectful and collaborative attitude, fostering a positive and cooperative team environment.
Preferred Experience
