Our LDA's serve as integral members of the clinical team in providing high quality and caring dentistry as well as an exceptional patient experience.Who We Are Community Dental Care is Minnesota's largest provider of comprehensive dental care for people of all ages on public programs. We operate five clinics across the state, including the Twin Cities, Rochester and Buffalo.Why Work for UsEnjoy meaningful work in a collaborative environment that fosters professional growthProvide culturally sensitive oral health care, preventive education, professional training, and advocate for access for allResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive dental care with a focus on the health needs of the patientsComplete preliminary charting of the oral cavity and surrounding structures; take vital signs, and radiographsPerform mechanical polishing to clinical crowns, take impressions and a bite registration, etch appropriate enamel surfaces, apply and adjust pit and fissure sealants, place and remove rubber dam, place temporary fillings and recement intact temporary restorationsRemove sutures, place and remove periodontal dressings, place cotton pellets and temporary restorative materialsUnder supervision, administer nitrous oxide inhalation anesthesia and monitor patientPerform restorative procedures such as placing, contouring, and adjusting amalgam and composite restorations, and adapting and cementing stainless steel crownsQualificationsCompletion of an accredited dental assisting programDental Assisting licensure in MN (or pending licensure)CPR/AED certificationExperience working with culturally diverse communities preferredProficiency in a second language preferredRochester Clinic Hours Monday/Tuesday 7:50am – 3pm Wednesday/Thursday 7:50am-5pm Friday 7:50am-2pmWhat We OfferComprehensive medical, dental and life insurancePaid time off; 401k plus company matchInternal growth and professional development opportunitiesCE classes and license renewalsAbout Us At Community Dental Care, we provide high quality dental care in a caring, culturally respectful manner.
