Job description
Take your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to champion students' communication growth across elementary, middle, and high school settings. This contract opportunity invites a caring, skilled professional to make a meaningful impact, providing both direct and consultative services to diverse learners within a supportive school environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification and state licensure
Previous experience working in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with families and staff
Ability to manage caseload, documentation, and scheduling effectively
Adaptability across different age groups and educational environments
Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practices
Key Responsibilities: Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments in alignment with current state and federal requirements
Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions to students in need of speech-language intervention
Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and families to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Track student progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in relevant team meetings
Consult with educational staff to support strategies for integrating communication skills into the classroom
Provide resources and guidance to families to continue student support beyond school hours
