The Opportunity

Primary Enterprises LLC is an established electrical contracting company that has serves the needs of commercial and industrial clients. We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and highly-skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team of professionals in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
Requirements
Ability to communicate in English. Spanish a plus.
At least 10 years of documented experience as a commercial electrician.
Solid working knowledge of commercial and electrical systems.
Ability to work independently, with no supervision.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Hardworking and a team player with a desire to continually learn and improve their skill-set.
Ability to carry heavy tools.
Being reliable and on-time.
Having basic electrician tools.
Responsibilities:
Perform all necessary installations and maintenance with minor supervision
Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
Follow specifications on blueprints/diagrams/technical drawings for installations
Conduct all repairs and installations according to code
Utilize all safety equipment and follow all safety regulations and guidelines
Maintain a neat and organized work environment
Maintain a stock of common materials in your service vehicle
Ensure that all tools and equipment are functioning properly
Responsibilities:
Install and repair electrical distribution equipment and light fixtures
Install various types of raceways and cable tray systems
Troubleshoot electrical circuits and lighting control systems
Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
Adhere to all quality and safety codes
Qualifications:
Previous experience in the electrical construction industry
Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
Good references
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
