Job description

Part-Time | Garden City, NY

Deepen your expertise in couples therapy within an established, collaborative practice committed to ongoing education, clinical excellence, and long term professional growth.

ABOUT NASSAU WELLNESS :

Nassau Wellness is a thriving, boutique group practice established in 2014, specializing in couples therapy. With an office in Garden City, NY, our team is made up of experienced, thoughtful clinicians who are deeply committed to clinical excellence, collaboration, and ongoing professional growth.

We utilize evidence-based models including Gottman Method Couples Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). While prior training in these approaches is preferred, we place equal value on curiosity, openness to learning, and a genuine interest in developing expertise in couples work.

Our culture emphasizes:

High-quality, ethical client care

Collaborative supervision and ongoing mentorship

Structured, meaningful clinical training

Long-term clinician retention and professional satisfaction

A warm, respectful, and welcoming team environment

We are intentional about building a practice where therapists feel supported, challenged, and proud of their work.

WHY CLINICIANS CHOOSE NASSAU WELLNESS:

A steady referral stream and thoughtful support in building a caseload that feels sustainable and aligns with your clinical goals

Administrative, scheduling, and billing support so you can focus primarily on clinical work

Weekly supervision and structured clinical trainings

A comfortable, welcoming office designed for clinicians to connect, collaborate, and feel part of a team

Opportunities to grow professionally within an established, well-respected practice serving the community for over a decade

POSITION SUMMARY :

This is a part-time position centered around in-person clinical work in our Garden City office, with some flexibility for telehealth. The role is designed for a clinician who values both autonomy and structure, and who wants to grow within a stable, well-supported group practice.

We prioritize clinical quality, consistency, and long-term fit. Caseloads are built thoughtfully with support from the practice. While timelines vary, steady caseload development typically occurs over 6-12 weeks. C linicians work toward approximately 24 clinical hours per week, with scheduling shaped around both client demand and clinician availability. Given the needs of our client population, some evening and/or weekend availability may be expected.

In addition to client sessions, therapists participate in:

Weekly group supervision

Biweekly, structured clinical trainings

Individual case consultation

Ongoing collaboration with the clinical team

Administrative work, training and supervision can be completed remotely.

Enjoy being part of a collaborative team and value mentorship, consultation, and feedback

Communicate clearly, are reliable, and committed to high-quality clinical care

Prefer the support, structure, and resources of a group practice over solo private practice
