Work Environment
This position is fully remote, enabling flexibility in your work schedule while also allowing you to connect with clients through various digital platforms. You will be operating within an outpatient office model, providing therapy to clients in their own environments, which can create unique and comfortable therapeutic experiences. Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based methodologies tailored to the unique needs of each client.
Create thorough documentation that adheres to company policies, including comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, goal setting, treatment planning, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Develop and implement aftercare plans for clients to facilitate ongoing support and successful transitions post-discharge.
Maintain consistent communication with clients' families and other relevant professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to care that promotes continuity and effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with all ethical, legal, and professional standards in the documentation and practice of therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist role specializes in working closely with individuals, couples, and families who are facing challenges related to mental health, behavioral issues, and relationship difficulties. Our clients may present with a diverse range of needs, including trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions. Your expertise will guide them in navigating these challenges through tailored therapeutic interventions.
Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Current active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.
A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with diverse populations, particularly those affected by mental health and behavioral challenges.
Proficient in maintaining professional boundaries and a strong commitment to confidentiality.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to clients and stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
Experience providing therapy within a remote or telehealth environment.
Knowledge of and experience with co-occurring disorders and substance abuse treatment methodologies.
Familiarity with and commitment to evidence-based practices in the field of mental health.
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 annually.
