Job description
Licensed Massage TherapistWe are seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a strong desire to provide exceptional service to our clients.Candidate would work as an independent contractor and must have a State of Ohio Massage Therapy License and liability insurance. Candidate must be able to supply a copy of their Massage Therapy License and their insurance coverage to be kept on file. Compensation for rendering professional massage therapy treatments under the governance of the State of Ohio Medical Board will be a 60/40 split - 60% service fee to the LMT and 40% to Hocking College. Hocking College will collect the service fee and pay the LMT their portion from Hocking College every two weeks.Responsibilities:Perform therapeutic massages of soft tissues and jointsAssess clients' needs and create customized treatment plansMaintain accurate and up-to-date client recordsCommunicate effectively with clients to ensure their comfort and satisfactionStay current with industry trends and techniquesAdhere to all state and local licensing requirementsRequirements:Current state license in massage therapyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekendsStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate recordsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical ability to perform massages for extended periods of timeIf you are a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist looking for a rewarding career, we encourage you to apply for this position.
