Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based diagnostic tools and methods.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, ensuring they are tailored to meet the unique concerns of each client.
Provide one-on-one counseling sessions that incorporate therapeutic techniques suited to the client’s goals, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused strategies.
Facilitate group therapy sessions when appropriate, creating a supportive environment for clients to share experiences and foster peer support.
Continuously monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to align with their evolving needs and feedback.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and updates in accordance with best practices and legal requirements.
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, share insights, and enhance the overall treatment experience for clients.
Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to remain updated on the latest mental health treatments and methodologies.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Trusted Support Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse client population that includes children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our clients often face challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. You will play a crucial role in providing the tools and strategies they need to cope with their mental health concerns and work towards recovery.
Qualifications
A valid Master's degree in mental health counseling or a related field is required to ensure you have a strong foundation in mental health principles.
Must possess a current, valid state license to practice as a mental health counselor (LMHC).
A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in mental health counseling is essential for effectively managing a varied caseload.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and foster trusting relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
Strong commitment to working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Preferred Experience
Prior experience in a telehealth setting is advantageous, along with familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and teletherapy tools.
Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and a strong understanding of evidence-based practices will be beneficial in delivering effective care.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus.
