Key Responsibilities
Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, tailoring approaches to meet the specific needs of clients.
Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to align with their evolving goals.
Collaborate effectively with other mental health specialists, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to develop comprehensive intervention plans.
Follow-up with medical professionals regarding clients who have been admitted for hospitalization, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
Identify potential barriers to recovery and implement effective strategies for prevention and management.
Support family members and primary caregivers by providing resources and strategies to help them navigate mental health challenges.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required, with a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or equivalent preferred.
Active NY State licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and relevant certifications.
Demonstrated experience in a mental health counseling role, showcasing a solid understanding of therapeutic techniques and methodologies.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to convey empathy and establish rapport with clients.
Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient-centered disposition.
Preferred Experience
Experience working with a range of mental health conditions and an understanding of evidence-based practices.
Familiarity with telehealth counseling practices and the use of various psychological assessment tools.
Documented history of collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in providing comprehensive patient care.
Prior experience with family systems therapy is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 101,000 per year, depending on experience and productivity.
