Work Environment
This role will be conducted remotely, providing you with a flexible work environment that supports work-life balance. Using telehealth technology, you will be able to engage with clients effectively through video conferencing, chat, and other digital communication tools. You will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals who are dedicated to providing comprehensive care and support.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough mental health assessments and evaluations for individual clients, establishing a trusting rapport from the outset.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical knowledge and client needs, utilizing evidence-based practices and methodologies.
Facilitate both individual and group counseling sessions, guiding clients through therapeutic processes while fostering an environment of openness and support.
Maintain strict confidentiality of client records and treatment information to ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
Monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as needed, utilizing feedback and assessment data to refine therapeutic approaches.
Assist clients in developing coping strategies and life skills that encourage personal growth and mental wellness.
Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in mental health treatment, integrating new techniques into your practice to enhance client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our clientele consists of individuals facing a wide array of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. As a Mental Health Counselor at Riverplace Psychotherapy Center, you will work with diverse populations, including adolescents, adults, and families, which will enrich your counseling experiences and professional growth.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required. A Master's Degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
Active state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is essential.
Proficient understanding of human behavior, psychological theory, and counseling techniques.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a strong emphasis on empathy and active listening.
Experience using telehealth technologies and digital communication tools is advantageous.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
Riverplace Psychotherapy Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to financial compensation, our benefits package includes:
