Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough clinical assessments for clients to create tailored treatment plans based on their needs, utilizing solution-focused interventions.
Deliver various evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to address diverse mental health conditions.
Maintain up-to-date and confidential clinical documentation, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and quality improvement standards.
Participate in multidisciplinary case consultations and peer reviews, continuously improving the quality of care and support provided.
Educate clients and their families regarding mental health issues, treatment modalities, and the resources available within the community.
Stay informed of the latest research, methods, and tools in the mental health field to effectively enhance client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As a member of Rising Hope Psychosocial Support, Inc., you will serve a diverse client population, including individuals coping with various mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other psychological challenges. Your expertise will be vital in creating supportive therapeutic relationships that empower clients to navigate their complex emotional landscapes and achieve their personal recovery goals.
Qualifications
A minimum of a Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New Jersey.
Demonstrable competence in applying solution-focused psychotherapy techniques that meet the unique needs of each individual client.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to build rapport and trust with clients effectively.
Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to assess complex situations and implement effective interventions.
Ability to thrive in a team-oriented culture, valuing collaboration and supporting your colleagues in a dynamic work environment.
Preferred Experience
Experience working in community health settings or with populations facing socio-economic challenges.
Previous use of electronic health record (EHR) systems for client documentation and management.
Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and cultural competency in addressing diverse client backgrounds.
