Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' mental health needs, history, and treatment goals.
Develop and implement customized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to promote healing.
Facilitate individual therapy sessions, offering strategies and support to improve clients' emotional well-being.
Set measurable therapeutic goals and regularly monitor progress through structured evaluations and check-ins.
Provide teletherapy sessions to ensure accessibility for clients facing geographic or mobility limitations.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans compliant with ethical standards.
Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance your therapeutic skills and maintain licensure.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our client base includes individuals experiencing varying degrees of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. As a counselor, you will work with diverse populations, tailoring your approaches to meet the specific needs of each individual. Your role will directly contribute to improving clients' mental health outcomes through personalized therapy that empowers them to find freedom from emotional distress.
Qualifications
Active state licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated by an ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
A compassionate, non-judgmental approach with an emphasis on empathy and understanding.
Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage a varied caseload effectively and efficiently.
Preferred Experience
Experience working in a community health clinic or similar environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices will position candidates for success in this role. Additionally, any experience related to trauma-informed care or working with specific populations, such as children or veterans, would be considered advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
Emotional Freedom Psychotherapy Services offers a competitive annual salary range of $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with your qualifications and caseload. Benefits include:
