Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:
Conduct individual counseling sessions via video conferencing, ensuring a compassionate and ethical approach to each interaction.
Utilize solution-focused treatment modalities to guide clients through their mental health journeys.
Develop customized treatment plans that align with the specific needs and goals of your clients.
Empower clients by facilitating insights into their feelings, experiences, and relational dynamics.
Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies to foster healthy coping mechanisms and positive outcomes.
Collaborate with a team of dedicated mental health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will primarily work with stable, low acuity adults presenting a diverse range of mental health concerns. Your expertise will be valuable in supporting individuals facing common life challenges, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other psychological distress. Our goal is to foster a therapeutic environment that promotes healing and skill-building, allowing our clients to improve their overall quality of life.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
A valid and full independent license to practice without supervision, such as:
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
No limited or provisional licenses and no disciplinary actions on your professional record.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a caring and empathetic demeanor.
Strong proficiency in computer systems and telehealth platforms.
Preferred Experience
We value experience that enhances the therapeutic process;
thus, candidates with previous teletherapy experience or familiarity with solution-focused therapy techniques will be preferred. A proven ability to manage a client caseload efficiently and adaptively is also advantageous.
